Leaky gut can cause bigger damage to your health than you can imagine!
I am once again compelled to share my understanding of this subject as 8 on 10 patients in my clinic are suffering from this disorder.
It surprises me how we continue to look at the symptoms and keep treating them without knowing that further exposure of our intestines to chemicals and drugs is only making matters worse.
Leaky gut can cause following:
- Extreme nutrient deficiency Zn, Mg, Fe, vitamins etc
- Can progress to new food intolerances such as gluten, lactose, eggs, sugar and so on.
- Antibodies formed due to leaked food products ( large particles) from intestines can cause multi-organ performance failure such as Liver, Kidney, Spleen, Thyroid issues(Hashimoto’s), Rheumatoid Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, Ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease, Lupus. Leaky gut is not just a Gastrointestinal issue, but it involves the whole body.
- 80% of serotonin is secreted in gut lining since the gut lining is captured here by pathogens such as bacterias, fungi etc, it can lead to severe depression, anxiety, brain fog etc.
- Candida overgrowth can bind estrogen leading to all symptoms of estrogen deficiency including mood swings, vaginal dryness, lack of sex drive, Irritability, extreme hair fall, dry hair, dry aging skin etc.
- Toxins released into the blood from candida, yeast or pathogenic bacterias lead to various skin disorders, like Acne, Rosacea, Hives, Eczema, Psoriasis etc.
What causes it?
OUR DIET:
Sad but true, we are not eating real food, we are eating food like substances.
Our food has, chemicals, pesticides, hormones, antibiotics, high sugar content, and it is GMO. All this is leading to damaged immune system of our intestines, by damaging the healthy bacterial flora and allow harboring of pathogenic bacteria parasites and fungi.
What can be done?
Choose organic wherever possible
Grow your food wherever possible
Remove GMO food
Remove sugar from your diet
Allow prebiotics to help rehabilitate healthy bacterial flora
Eat fermented vegetables
DO NOT EAT PROCESSED FOOD
Avoid alcohol intake
Detox regularly
Aim at one bowel movement daily
Reduce stress
Take care of your body, do not feed garbage to it.
